Will this setup be able to run battlefield 4? If so, what settings will it run on?

Medium to High settings around 45-60+ fps. Currently I am recommending to everyone to quickly purchase 270's as they are very cheap right now. You can purchase 2 and crossfire them for even better results.

However the 770 that you have will perform just fine for quite a while.

@2nd poster, Highly doubtful it'll run ultra 60+ My 780 has issues doing that without going over 90C Graph supporting my finding (Bold color is minimum, shaded is average over 1 hour):

It sure will

It will run BF4 on ultra with about 60FPS average

You can always change the settings accordingly to gain some extra fps

Addressing Tyler-'s comment
I was referring to [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] page which states that on ultra, the 770 will perform @ 54 FPS average.

Your 780 might not get 60+fps all the time which is why i stressed that it is an average fps & that he can turn down some settings to get the higher average fps

Also, i see we found the same page ;)

OP: If you have your setting's on high, you will get 80FPS average.
Some cool graph

my 770 runs it on ultra at around 55-70 fps @1080p

if you run it at 1440p it hovers from 45-55 at ultra setting.

@Tyler- if you 780 does that bad on bf4 I think you've got a problem. lol

That chart isn't even true, my 280x gets 65-70FPS ultra , not 45

Coming from Someone with a 760 and similar setup, running ultra on that Build with a 770 @ 1080p you should be keeping above 50 FPS at most times with maybe some 40-49 dips during power heavy scenes.

If you want to play at 1440p and don't mind the fps drop, the game will still be very playable at around 35-50 fps average.

*edit Just to clear up some confusing, Tyler uses a 780M, just for anyone who was wondering if he cooks popcorn with it.

Shuddup scizor your card hit 95 on minecraft

I have an EVGA 770 SC 4gb model. I ran BF4 with my last CPU at Ultra averaging 50-60 FPS. Never dropping below 45. Just giving a bit of a personal benchmark.

Turn off the Anti-aliasing deffered.
???
profit

Unless your pixel density is pretty bad (gaming on 52" TV @ 1080P), you wont have any advantage when its on and you will be losing FPS. Ultra preset is for noobs, take your time playing with the settings for better FPS with the same visuals. I personally run all on Ultra with the MSAA off, ambient occlusion off and motion blur off. I get around 60FPS avg @ 1440P with my GTX780.

About the build itself. If you wont be overclocking, you don't need a Z97 motherboard and an unlocked CPU. This will be better. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] I included an SSD because for this budget I believe is a must. If you don't want an SSD, you can get this. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] I included a R9 290, which performs better than a GTX770. Especially on BF4.
