Make sure your menu is in the USB port closest to the disc tray.
Ensure you have the correct patch on your USB. if you go into split screen and the menu opens, close it and end the split screen game. Without going to the MW2 Main Screen go onto online matches and go into private match. Try open your menu. If it doesn't work, re execute your menu by pressing select and then whichever button you have set the bind to open the menu, If this doesn't work, PM me.

That happens to me to like it opens in splitscreen then when I end game it freezes at a black screen but I think its because the scratches on my game
