Sounds like this could be an issue with your Launch.ini

You're going to need
-Xexmenu
-Dashlaunch (to create a new Launch.ini)

-Take off HDD
-Create a dashlaunch folder on your USB and install dashlaunch to the folder
-Put Xex menu on the Root of a USB
-Put USB into JTAG/RGH
-Turn on JTAG/RGH
-Go to Dashlaunch and create a Launch.ini

(Save settings to USB by pressing x)
(Read settings from USB by pressing a)

-Clear your ENTIRE cache including the cache folder on Xex menu.
-Reboot console
-Go into USB and delete everything on it
-Remove USB, Turn off console
-Plug back in HDD
-Boot console

I have done all of the above. Whenever i press X to create a Launch.ini its fine. But as soon as i press A it makes the console crash?

Does anyone know why?

What exactly are you having trouble with?
You might not have to do this at all :wat:

Is there a reason why we are doing this the long way compared to the 10 times quicker way?

This is for my friend.
When he opens XeBuild and when he opens the flashdmp and he gets an error saying
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
He clicks yes but it doesn't show what motherboard or build type he has.
He has a Xbox 360 Slim model, so it is a RGH. But he doesnt know if it is RGH, OR RGH 2.0 and what it would be under on Xe Build.
Could anyone help him?
