You wont find a good pair for base for $100. I would save up and get some studios. I have two pairs of headphones. Studios and dna's. Studios are the best for bass imo, quality has improved a lot from the last model.

It's actually not that hard to find a pair with lots of bass for under $100. Honestly, while the Studios have improved, their bass definitely isn't its strong suit. I can think of a number of headphones that have better bass than it.

Bass I find is subjective. While I like deep and hard hitting bass, many people like in your face bloated bass with frequencies in the 100 Hz range as opposed to 50 Hz. For this reason, many people think beats are bassy.

Do you want them to be portable? Yes.
Do they need to isolate well? No
Is durability a big priority? In the cable, I have nervous hands if the cable is replaceable then ignore this.
Are these for gaming? If so, please specify PC or console. No
Do you have any hardware like amps or DACs that you will be using? Currently looking into guitar amps.
Do you need an amp and/or DAC? Yes $60 budget on DAC, guitar amp $400 for head. Assuming you know about guitar amps, (preferably tube.)
Have you had significant experience with certain headphones in the past? Had a pair of Beats, they were a gift.
Do you have any other relevant questions? Nope, but I request the headphones be Comfortable.

Headphone Budget: $150
Music Styles: Progressive Rock/Jazz Fusion (ex: Chon/Animals as Leaders) Punk/90s alternative (ex: Sum41/The Offspring) Metal/Hardcore (ex: Terror, Volumes)

Headphone type: Over Ear, closed.
