Depending wat you want the jtag for if for online use no you will spend way to much money trying to get online but for offline it great and just to play game then yes

Yes, it is worth it. The 360 may be an older console, but games are still being released for it. If you actually use the console for everything it can do, then you won't be disappointed.

JTAGs are better, but obviously harder to find anymore.

Jasper, or an RGH slim. There's really no reason to go any lower anymore. As far as costs go, I'd assume now a Jasper JTAG is probably in the area of $160 (USD).

- JTAG / RGH modding is not worth it anymore. I mean if you just want to host because you want to, and you have the money, why not give it a shot.

The reason i don't say its worth it anymore is because you can't make that much money from hosting. That's the main reason why i hosted.

Back in early September of 2012 when only a hand full of people wanted to spend $125 a day to get online /w the ORIGINAL xbls, and there was nearly no one with there JTAG or RGH online hosting in the modded lobbies section, the profit was unbelievable.
I would make almost $500 a day, and around $350 in profit. I spent the money i made only on more server time and kv's, the rest went right to my bank account. At the time i was on a ankle monitor for 90 days. After 3 months of hosting, stopping in the end of December, i had made nearly $11,000 profit and took it out of my bank account in cash.

I started to host last summer after being absent from the modding world for nearly 7 months, i only made around $75 a day. I could only guess how much you could make now. Note i would host from the time i woke up, to 3am most days.
