First off...
The text font is off, should be a classy but cartoony font to suite a city background well.
Secondly, your just gonna put this in a city based banner?
Sorry mate but it doesn't go..
Plus...the "Z's", cmon man this makes it look so bad, there is no style there whatever, you have just put a Z there, blending will do the trick
...and my last point, the blending/lighting, make it different from where you got the image off google, use lighting effects, corners, make a building stand out from the rest?
Maybe next time.

This is unique as hell.
Never seen anything like this.
If i was you, remove the Zs and the links.
center the text, make it a gradient light grey with a 3px stroke
something like 40% opacity.
Then reduce the opacity of the actual layer to like 70-80%
If you want to put your Skype etc on it i suggest;
Putting a thin rectangular shape across the bottom/top
or even in the middle behind the text.
Put a faint stroke on it, reduce the fill to about 30%
and then put the symbols and text inside that.
