So I have an iPod updated to 7.0.3, but I'm pretty sure I updated wirelessly. I hear that it can affect the jailbreak with evasi0n. Is there a way to fix this? I can only go to 7.1.1 on iTunes.
Can I just update to 7.0.4 through iTunes?
Thanks

So I haven't jailbroken an iPod since like ios4 so alot has changed I guess.
Am I good to use the evasi0n tool to jb? Are there any risks because I updated wirelessly? Or could I just backup.

just back it up through iTunes and try it if all of it fails then you can always put it in DFU and restore it but yes there is a risk but like i said i did my friends and he updated through wireless and it worked perfectly

This link will allow you to pick what Firmware you want for your ipod touch 5th generation. Download the firmware you want, takes about 45 minutes. After open itunes and back up first. Then make sure you are on the summary tab of your ipod. HOLD down the shift button if you are on a windows computer, then click restore. LOCATE the downloaded firmware and restore to the specific firmware!
