I have about 3700 dollars from working merely 3 months; instead of buying private property cars and have the risk of being scammed, purchasing salvage-like cars, and making a overall bad transaction, I've came to the conclusion of buying from a dealer.

Furthermore, from making an average income of about 1250 dollars in a average month.

Not to mention, fees from registration, insurance, etc..

I'm 17 without any financial aid from my parents, however; my parents will pay the payments [underage].

What would be the maximum price range from buying from a dealership? I have a stable job [income wont change or be insufficient ever, and I have to pay off the car within 12 months].

First of all, you need to be 100% sure you can make payments.

A misconception is that buying from a dealer is better. Not true, you have just as much luck from private parties. That being said, unless your parents have good credit your APR will be ridiculous. Let's say you pay 8000$ for a car and after your down payment and everything else, your looking at about 5000$. Divide 5000$ by 12 for a year long loan (if you could find someone willing to finance for a year) and it'll be close to 500$ a month before interest.

That being said. Buy a shitty car for 1-1.5k. Wait until your 18 and finance yourself. It'll build your credit. You also need full coverage. Which for me was 280$ a month.

If you get a reliable 8000$ car for 48 months. Your looking at about 180$ a month and full coverage would be max 300$ (in pa at least)
