TheWeekendModder wrote JR is on vacation at the moment. I'm gonna try to reach out to him so he can respond to this thread.

Edit: I don't want to get all in the middle of this, but I did manage to get ahold of JrMods and he says there is some more to the story here. He's on vacation right now but is very willing to work something out.

Understanding you don't want to get in the middle, this is NOT a response directly to you, bur rather a general comment. Other than to say I'm sorry you got dragged in...

This is the first I've heard he's "on vacation". In the interest of being fair (as I have tried to be from the beginning) - all it would have taken was one response to the several PMs and texts I sent (all of which JR did receive and read) saying something like "I am on vacation but will resolve this when I get back on {whatever day}" and I'd have waited patiently. Anyone reading this should understand that on top of the issues, there was a definite sense that my attempts to reach out to him were being ignored..

I'm sure he is on vacation man. I've bought a console from him and got everything I wanted. Don't you worry man, you'll get yours too.

JR tells me that you don't have his # - how did you text him?

Also, as far as I know there is no function within TTG to tell if a PM has been read or not.

At the request of JR I will be PMing you his cell # as soon as I submit this message. He is without internet service but just phone is working.

I think that is part of the problem - he has a bad memory. I absolutely did/do have his number. The day he shipped the console to me, he texted me a picture of the receipt with the tracking information from the post office. I responded via text thanking him (I still have both of those texts to prove it).

When you send a PM to someone on TTG, it stays in your "Outbox" until it is read, and then moves to your "sent" - there is also an icon (the "flag" column when looking at messages) for unread and read - hover your mouse over it and a tooltip pops up. Finally, when you look at a member's profile, you can see when the last time they logged in was. He'd logged in three times (once not long after each of the messages I sent him) and never once replied to me.

Edit - here's the receipt he texted me:

Edit2 - For example - JR last logged in to TTG on June 5th (presumably from vacation, not long after I first posted this):

Check your PM. Would appreciate you clarifying publicly whether or not I had his number. I sent a whole conversation that took place via text message, even him talking about forgetting the controller, etc...

No problem. cg079 has provided evidence that seems pretty clear cut that he did indeed already have Jr's #.

This will be my last reply on the topic since this is an issue between Jr and cg079 and they are at least able to be in contact. Its none of my business from here on out.

Best of luck.

Thanks - and again, sorry you got dragged in.

It will be my last post as well. I never intended it to go beyond what I initially posted. I stand by everything I said. I've found my resolution by sending this console to be repaired by someone else. A week ago, sure, there was probably something JR could have done had he chosen to respond (I did wait 3 days after trying to reach him before posting my story here). At this point, there's really nothing more that can be done.

Make your own decision about who to trust when buying anything from a stranger on a forum.

Ok im back! Should have announced that I would be gone and out of contact, many regrets there....

Obviously there is a problem, @CG079 I will pm you feel free to get back to me asap either by pm or text. Im more than willing to work with you to find a solution. After you getting the DOA console, I repaired and sent it back, and it was working fine. The fact that something happened again is beyond me and out of my control but I am definitely ready to find some sort of solution to make this situation better than it is!

@ TheWeekendModder thanks for all the help and sort of being the middle man while I was out of town. It was good to be informed that something was going on when I wasnt aware.

As for everybody else, I am back and will have a couple "Slim E" rgh consoles for sale in the few days to come!

JR has indeed PM'ed me that he's back and offered to help. Again, I wish I'd have known he would have been away, and this would have all been avoided.

At this point, the only request I've made of him is to send the original NAND that I've asked many times for now. I have already had the console repaired by someone else and returned to me.

I have no further reason to continue to post in this thread, until I confirm receipt of the NAND (or to report that I never did get it).

I have received the NAND/CPU Key from JR, and from my perspective, consider this "closed" and behind me.
