It's a 2wd Prerunner. It's not meant for mud lol. I prerun races in the desert with it though. In my opinion the desert is way more fun and takes a lot more skill then just slamming a truck through mud. Plus you get to hit sand trails going about 80 mph. It's just a thrilling experience.

Ain't it a bit stupid to lift a 2wd? What's the point?

You can fit larger tires and you have more clearance on trails. So if there are more bumps and hills you can get over them much easier.

So you waste more horsepower just for bigger tires and clearance? It be better 4wd then 2wd

I get what you are saying but when you regear your truck to support the tires you aren't wasting horsepower. Majority of all prerunners are 2wd. A 4wd prerunner is not very common. If you watch trophy truck racing or stadium truck racing almost all of the trucks are 2wd.
