Recently I started to learn GFX and I've been playing around in Illustrator and Photoshop - not going to lie, they're a bit confusing.
I've just one question before I request a YouTube banner..
Q. In Adobe Illustrator when I 'vector' an image and play around with it (was a picture of mine), is there any way that I'm able to save it in a form that isn't an AI file and is full resolution / graphics? When I vectored it, it lost a lot of quality.
Anywho, if you answer that question it'd be great! c: now I'm just wondering if anyone will create me a free YouTube banner if I tell you what I want it to look like?
Thank you all.

If you save it, it embeds coding into the picture to let other programs know its a vector.
If it doesn't work and you want to open it in photoshop. Just open the AI file in photoshop.
