Are you using the headset adapter? If you are try holding down the bottom button on the left side down till you hear it beep three times.

Using kinect? Go settings > Blu ray > clear Persistent setting (3 times).

Then go to network settings and clear Mac adress and restart it. You will then be able to hear each other.
