If its not deep it will. But if it is down to bare metal no it will not.

Hello. I work in this industry and the only thing you could do to make it look nice/new. Is try and polish it and see if the scratch comes off. If not, you would have to sand the door back down to the metal, apply the primer/paint/lacquer again. Could be pretty pricey though. Take it to a garage and see what they say. To be honest the scratch isn't that noticeable.

if its deep just take it to maco if you dont have the tools for painting a car yourself they doo 400$ paintjobs

It depends on how deep it is. If you have the money I would recommend getting a new paint job.

Edit: You could just leave it on there, its not like it effects your driving.

Claiming on insurance - Yes maybe you get a bit money, car fixed whatever. Then your insurance is a lot more than it was, you lose your years no claims. Not worth it in the long run for a scratched door.

It will probably buff out, get it detailed if it bothers you that much.


Judging by the door I'm guessing its a corsa so a couple scratches is usual on those things. don't stress.
