i was wondering if the h100i would fit the 1150 socket. i've seen on other sites that the 1155 and the 1150 sockets are the same size, heat sink wise, but haven't seen any truth to this. i just wanted confirmation before i bought the cooler and then have it not work on my 4770k. i apologize for the "noob" question

Yes! It will work for sure with no problems. They are both the same size and should not be a problem. I also highly recommend it too cause it is a great cooler! Have fun!

Yeah it will fit, just make sure that you route the tubes neatly or it looks horrible if they are all over the place.

i'm definitely going to be working a lot on cable management for this build; to ensure nothing is damaged or anything :p.

good, I can't stand my lack of cable management due to my POS case. Even though there is no window, it annoys me.

that's how this one is that i have now. there is basically no room for any cable management. that's why i decided to save up, buy more expensive parts, allowing me to do these things.
