If you happen to use Malwarebytes like I do and upgraded to the 2.0 version, you will see, it's very different from the past 1.75 and below versions.

I've went through this to help configure Malwarebytes to run properly and effectively.

Here's how to set up Malwarebytes in the 2.0 version:

1. Upon starting the program for the first time, click on "Update Now" to get the latest Database version on Malwarebytes.

2.Next, click on settings and copy the settings from the following pictures.

3. To run a full scan, click on scan from the tab above and click "Custom Scan" then click "Scan Now".

4. Once on "Custom Scan Configuration", click on "Scan for Rootkits". Then select which drive you want to be scanned.

WARNING: A custom scan took 11 hours for me to complete. Keep that in mind before you run the scan.

Notes: If you see anything grayed out, it's because those are premium features the can be accessible once you have purchased a premium license for Malwarebytes. A "Threat Scan" is just a fancy way of saying "Quick Scan".
