i built my pc from scratch which would mean i put all separate parts in myself including the OS.

the problem i am having is if i restore my pc to factory will it be back to before i ever installed the os onto it or will it still have windows on it?

*i lost my windows disk and have no usb to put a torrented one onto!

Are you doing a System Restore within Windows? Sorry if that's a stupid question, but I don't get your question fully, it's just the way you've phrased things.

It should still have the OS on it because it would be silly not to have it.
You could always have a disc with a torrented OS on it instead of a USB

Have you not go back up disks from an earlier time? So that you can simply go back and restore centre? If not theres a short cut on HP laptops that let's you do it from start up, you might be able to find something similar. But then again if you installed the windows yourself, maybe not
