What's done is done, you got no one to blame but yourself, for the. Sake of $50 you just bought yourself a "buy a new xbox anyway" card, and don't even waste your time over $500 if you get a lawyer involved your gonna be able to buy 20 brand new xbox ones when you receive his bill, morel of the story is Be smart and buy something brand new with warranty, only thing you can do is register the xbox with Microsoft then order a replacment lol

Wish wrote You don't need to gas the console, cover it air tight (with plastic wrap) and leave it for a few days. The pests will die of suffocation.

As of now, They are in air-tight seal for the last 24 hours. I think I'm gonna let them in there for around 48-60 hours. If they still survive, I'll try Noiseful's suggestion.

vCharlie wrote What do you mean by pest? And you could just sell it as spairs

They are.........Cockroaches!! Cockroaches tend to LOVE electronic stuffs especially if it emits heat and electromagnetic wave. So console is just a luxury RV for them.

Noiseful wrote I have a solution for you.
Take the console and put it in your freezer for 2 - 4 days. if you are worried about the pest's getting into everything in your freezer, just get a large zip-lock bag or wrap it with plastic wrap.. And to answer the question of "will it mess my console up, being that cold?" - No. just let it sit in room temperature for a couple hours before you to use it.
You're welcome.

Your method sound extreme...but worth a shot. I'll try it out and see what will happen.
