so recently i just rooted my galaxy s3, then went to install a custom clock work recovery mod, then the video said to put the phone into download mode so when i did that the screen just went black, then the led lights dont light up when plugged in and it doesnt make any noises at all, doesnt turn on or anything, the computer only makes a noise when i plug it into my computer, but its no where to be found on the computer, someone had said it was stuck in download mode, is there anyway i could fix this manually or would i need a jig?

You sir no nothing. Rooting your android is very beneficial. As you can install custom rom/kernal(s), make your battery last longer ect.

Very true, but since some people are uneducated about it they try to install things that are incompatible with their type of phone, or they are simply doing things wrong
