Hey ttg members just thought i would share this with you
it's not really out of the ordinary just more out of place.

so i have just been to the shop at the end of my street (about 45 seconds walk)
and found this licence plate at the side of the road.

not knowing where it originated from led me to a google search on "sa the festival state"
which turns out to be South Australia, now it has me even more confused as to how it has travelled 9,500 miles to Manchester in the UK and ended up sitting on the road near my house.
i suppose i will never find out but gonna keep it & hang it in my tool cupboard as it's still pretty cool.

That's really strange, you should definitely keep it and look after it. It could be worth some money.

It's actually pretty cool. Would add a nice touch to your room for sure. Also, probably someone who moved to UK from Australia and either had the plate changed, or it fell off where you got it. Either way, nice find and I would keep it as well. If only you could see all the stuff I have in my room.
