I am a fan of deathcore and other genres of that sort and then whenever people ask what kind of music I listen to then I tell them and the most common reply is "Oh, you're such a ****** for listening to that shit". When was it cool to go bashing on other peoples music. Is it actually that hard to not start an argument about what kind of music you like. Why not stop being a douche and say something like these:
Oh you listen to rap.. I'm not a fan but that's cool.
Oh you listen to country.. I'm not a fan but that's cool.
Oh you listen to techno.. I'm not a fan but that's cool.
Seriously its music not everyone has to have the same damn opinion on what they like to listen to

I agree ha but I guess that makes me sort of a hypocrite I because I still have to to find a reason why people actually enjoy dubstep!

See I have 4 preferences when it comes to music;
- Classical (beethoven, y.s.b ect...)
- Dubsted
- House
- Hip Hop
Don't like much else, can get away with some indie music, but people say due to me not choosing indie over the others I have a bad music taste, does nothing but irritate me...

It's absolutely ridiculous how much hate you get theres days if you are different. People think that everyone needs to listen to Rap / hip-hop like everyone else. If people were all the same then life would be boring.

Oh, man I can totally relate. I have this friend who always made fun of me for listening to pop music and that sort of stuff. He'd make fun of me everyday like it was nothing. Yet when I returned the favor, he got pissed and would say I'm a bully or something like that. However, he's a good friend so I still talk to him and whatever. So yes, I totally agree with this rant.

I like listening to screamo, but if I'm around my friends or something and start listening to it, they look at me like I'm some kind of idiot.

I hate this, when people do this it makes me mad. You listen to what you listen to because it's what you enjoy. Not them.
