Personally I would give it back to them, I have had a similar situation, where my friend took advantage of a moment on the bus where an old man who dropped his wallet. It turned it had 80 pounds inside of it. I couldn't watch her spend it all so, she took 10 I handed it into the police station, when he got it we were rewarded 100 pounds as the wallet itself cost 300.

I don't know who buys a wallet for 300, but clearly it meant a lot to him. I wish I stopped her spending that money since it belonged to someone else I would have felt so bad.

In complete honesty i would likely take the money for myself as long as there isn't a chance of being caught. If i said otherwise i would of been lying

I would have to exchange it to pounds first ;) and if it wasn't in a wallet or I seen the person drop it I probs will keep it or take to the police
