The problem is the first time I put a game disc it somehow thinks I didn't put anything in or it says put in a Xbox one disc, like it thinks I'm trying to put in a Xbox 360 disc or something. After a few attempts I finally get it to read the disc.

I got it from eBay (day one edition) but all the packaging was still on it. (like it hasn't been opened)

I'm trying to figure out if I can fix it or if this is happening to anyone else besides me. I don't want this problem to keep progressing and I don't want this happen every time.

ANY FEEDBACK WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!

Make sure your console is laying horizontally. My friend had his vertically and experienced the same issue.

If the disc drive is broken or defected it usually makes a grinding noise when reading a disc.

Mine kinda makes kind of a grinding noise when I put in the disc and then my xbox says I didn't put a disc in. Some days it can read my discs the first time I put it in then others it takes 3 to 4 times with grinding noise or not
