Hey all,

Recently built my new comp and I'm playing around on a few games such as Minecraft and I have noticed that my FPS is not going above 60fps. I did use the drivers that came in the box since I couldn't download the drivers yesterday and also I'm using my 32" TV as my monitor currently.

Specs:
AMD FX 6300 3.5GHz
8GB Corsair XMS3 1600MHz
MSI Twin Frozr R9 270X
1TB Seagate 7,200RPM
Gigabyte GA-78LMT USB3+
Corsair CX 600w

I'm wondering whether it is the TV limiting my frame rate or the drivers, I was expecting a
average of at least 150fps on Minecraft Maxed out.

Thanks in Advance!
Sili

P.S: The TV is running at 1360x768 @60Hz

Download the latest drivers, it will help you get better FPS in games.

Also, try overclocking your CPU, Minecraft is more CPU intensive than GPU. That will help to.

Thank you very much! Would I need to delete the previous driver?

Ensure that VSync is turned off, it is used to reduce screen tearing by matching the frame rate to the refresh rate of the monitor.
