Okay so today i found out the iOS 7 jailbreak has been released i am currently running 6.1.0 jailbroken on my iPhone 4 GSM. I plugged my iPhone into iTunes and tried to update to ios 7.0.4 several times but no luck. In the end i tried updating in DFU mode but i got the same errors. So i gave up and turned my iPhone back on. But i noticed i have a screen flickering round the edges of the screen ever since trying to update. Could someone please help me thanks.

That happened to me a few times. Scared me as well. Just restore again and it should be fine
