Can someone tell me to a good reason to root my S3 like can i get the stuff that 'jail brakes get'

Lifehacker wrote an informative article awhile ago on why you should root your Android phone. I reckon you should check it out, best regards. I personally would root my phone for limitless freedom and to get rid of the shoddy stock rom.

First off, rooting and jailbreaking are not the same thing; they're not similar at all.
Jailbreaking is done by a hack/bug in the OS. Rooting is done by a set of commands.

Rooting gives you more freedom, it allows you to run Xposed, apply ad blockers, use your PS3/PS4 controller with your phone, etc.
