JIF wrote Here's my build btw. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Monitors not included. I have a 1tb hdd and one set of identical ram.

Being used for gaming and video rendering.
I find it hard to believe you need the power of 2 780's. You say this will be used for editing? Get a single 780 and a 550 unit, it will be a damn sight cheaper. This is way to overkill for even the biggest of video editors.

I just find it hard to believe that you'd spend 2 grand on something that could do the same as a 1k build.

A single 780 won't do what I want it to. I can't decide, but I either want three 1440p monitors or one 4k when the prices come down.

I'm not buying right now though, so I'm open to all opinions.

Back to the question at hand...

Sleeved PSU cables: I've heard Bitfenix Alchemy cables are the best you can get pre-sleeved. Newegg USA doesn't carry them sadly, but some highly rated sellers on Amazon do.

I've heard Rosewill cables are bad, and I personally know that NZXT cables are not the best. (Feel pretty cheap and had to modify them out of the box to fit my PSU)

I also would feel comfortable running that system with a gold rated 850w power supply. Here are two that I would highly, highly recommend.

Seasonic:

you do realize a 270x can manage 4k, you won't need 2 780's
