Far from it, an i7 is handy for editing, but it is far from "needed". The i3 will do everything the i7 can, just slower.
Okay guys i will upgrade later but all i want to know is what games can it play and at what setttings like bf4 on high or what?

You will be able to play a lot of games with good FPS on medium - ultra depending on the game and the amount of FPS you want to get.

Not a bad build ;), Even though I wouldn't recommend it for extreme gaming.

The i7, to a real video editor and content creator is essential. For this bloke, maybe an i3 meets his standards. To me an i5 is too slow for what I do, heck, if they made an X79 ITX board somehow, I'd have it!

OP, you've got an i3, 16GB of RAM, a mid-low end GPU, and a junk PSU. What do you expect to do with it? For one, you will not be maxing out games like DayZ and BF4 for sure, and your gaming experience on settings above medium to low will be horribly substandard.

no one really said it was awful, because it isn't. I just said be sure that it will meet your needs. As the i3 wouldn't for me.
