Okay so how do people get crazy amounts of rep and how do much do i have, and how does your amount increase and how do you give rep??

You have 4 reputation power and can give a maximum of 4 rep.
When you get 25 you can give a maximum of 25. As a gold member you can give 50 rep if you have 50 and above reputation power.
Gaining reputation power:
You need 25 posts to earn 1 Reputation Power.
You need 100 Reputation Points to earn 1 Reputation Power.
Reputation points are given by members if you help around the forums and are a good member.

Every 25 posts, you get 1 rep point.

You have to earn your reputation power and help people and they will rep you in return.
Reputation doesn't make you any better then anyone else on this site btw.. It just gives people a good idea too see if your an active member and if your helpful around the site.
