There are soooo many things that are just wrong with this generation. Back in the last generation they weren't like we are now, and I think that has to do with advanced technology.

People are always on their cell phone, which annoys the crap out of me but whatever. Back then, they didn't have cell phones to be on 24/7.

16 Year Old getting pregnant, when they don't have jack, no money, nothing and they have to rely on their parent for everything.

Kids now are more spoiled then ever, 8 year olds have IPhones/IPad, when they probably begged their parent to buy it for them constantly.

Kids I feel don't spend enough time with their parent, this again goes back to the technology thing, people are too busy texting, playing xbox, ps3, etc. Back then, kids spent their time outside and helping their parent with whatever they need.

6 Year Olds are now using cuss words. I don't know about you but if I just said like shut up or crap, I would get my mouth washed out with soap, which was awful by the way. But now 6 year olds can cuss and parents don't care at all.

People want jobs that pay good, but they don't do anything to get to it.

Kids are doing drugs and drinking alcohol like there's no tomorrow. I personally have never done either of those, neither will I.

I could go on and on and on, and I bet you guys do to. Feel free to add anything I missed.

I really think our generation is just so messed up its not even right, and the next generation will probably be worse.

Leave your opinions down low, I'd really like to hear them. Thanks for reading guy and I hope you have a great rest of the night!

We are experiencing the ever dawning era of becoming technologically disconnected from the world. We struggle to make friends, can't maintain relationships with our family, break our morale into miserable bits and etc... I do rightfully agree with you.

Yes and it's really sad. I have personally spent so much time on xbox, it's hard for me to talk to people in real life which is really sad but I'm trying to get better. Technology is destroying our world basically.

Its the cycle of life. Every new generation seems to be worse than the last as they are more acceptable of liberal ideas. You seem to have more conservative ideas and will likely loosen up as you progress in life. Your kids generation will seem a lot worse than yours and by the time you are a grand parent you will not even be able to relate to the "new teenagers".

That is what really scares me, is my kids. I don't want then growing up doing drugs, or having sex every week like some of the teenagers now.. I just want them to play a sport or workout and be healthy. But you know, I will probably change because I have more years ahead of me then I realize. I think life is a beautiful thing, and I think you shouldn't waste it by getting AIDS or smoking or getting 'turnt' as kids these day call it.

Yeah technology is making the youth extremely ignorant about various aspects of life. Technology is good to an extent where it seems to be getting abused in these times.

The reason of why we live we are disconnected in a technological world is because everything is seemingly easier than before. We can browse numerous forms of social communication on the internet without even attempting to go out and making friends. We're lonely, but we are afraid of intimacy. And so from Facebook, Twitter, TTG, Xbox, Steam, PSN and numerous others- we get the illusion of false companionship without the demands of friendship. We have the tendency to communicate on a virtual machine because it takes much more less effort to do this than actually go out in the real world in the physical world. Everything seems to be intangible in the real life now as we all expect the newest and greatest gadgets that are released. The social sites we use to communicate hinder our abilities with actually having a great conversation with someone in real life. Text messaging shrouds our true inner beings with a false mask that brings the infection of narcissism upon us. This is why I deleted my Facebook, it brings no real physical advantages, and most of the people on Facebook won't actually even noticed that you went away.

Great video that explains the reason why Facebook is useless.

First off, you saying you have not done drugs/drank nor will you ever do them, is a lie when you are saying that at the age you are. You have no idea what is to come in your life. Technology is not destroying our world, it is destroying the people who abuse it. If I am correct almost every country is in debt, and you are to young to understand the world and things that are going on you are only 15 or 14. I am not saying I understand it but I do have some knowledge, I have learned alot in the last year, I had cancer, I got chemo and then it came back, I decided not to get chemo again but I changed my whole diet to vegetables, fruit, and meat which I love but I forced my self to not eat meat as often, and boom the cancer was gone, All these medications, television shows, electronics, and other things are changing people and how they act and live. People are alot less social, it is harder for people in their 20's to find good husbands/wives. The world is changing from 100 years ago, it will always be changing. We just have to learn to live with it. The government and the people in office are lying to us and people have voted the president in just because he is the same race as them (I do not mean to offend anyone) and he is a good for nothing liar. I am done, goodbye!

Technically they are still in our generation. The last generation was about 20 years ago. But yeah I do agree with you on everything that you said. Kids are getting worse and worse. I mean my 10 year old brother was caught smoking cigarettes and vandalizing someones fence. And he also has a swearing problem. If I had said any of those words. My a$$ would have been beaten.
