hmm, this kind of error could be hard drive related but lets make sure that we check the drivers first. Typically, either the device's driver is not enabled or it is out of date, however not all I/O device error solutions are that simple. It could be simple though so I recommend you try this:

1
Access "Control Panel" from the Start menu and then choose "Performance and Maintenance."

2
Click "System" and then go to the Hardware tab and click on "Device Manager."

3
Find the device that is registering an error by expanding the tab's of the appropriate category. If the device has a red "X" on the icon next to its description, the hardware is disabled; look at Step 4 to enable it. Otherwise, go to Step 5.

4
Go to the General tab and click "Enable Device" found under the Device Status section; then press "OK." Test the hardware. If an error is shown, proceed to Step 5.

5
Go to the General tab and click "Troubleshoot" found under the Device Status section then press "OK." Follow the prompts to solve the issue. If an error is still shown, proceed to Step 6.

6
Go to the Driver tab and click "Update Driver." Follow the prompts until the process has completed and then test the hardware.

Some driver updates may require you to visit their website to get the latest download, so be sure to check that.

Like I said,it could be something as simple as your drivers needing updating or it could be more worse such as a harddrive problem
