The instances of it smoking I've only really found on TTG, I've heard of some little problems with not starting up - But sony themselves have already arranged to try fix these problems for those involved..

Post some proof of it happening? And believe me, if I just bought a console worth that much at midnight release..the last thing I'd be doing is posting about it on a site like this - I'd be doing all I can to get in touch with sony and the retailer to sort the issue

I know there's alot of Xbox Fanboys on here, so you're always going to get posts like this - Which may be fake lies - but I'm sorry if it's actually true.

Very nicely said, there are way too many immature people on here who are heavily biased towards the Xbox and for that reason have to try stuff like this to make themselves feel better. I just got mine and love it! No problems at all, like you said it's a little odd that all of these absurd issues are only showing up on TTG...

Wow. Ok. Either you used a crappy photo filter, one of those vaporizing things for when you have a cold, or lit a piece of paper on fire. That just looks ridiculous.
I agree with Dean. If you have an issue take it back or call Sony.

And, yes, I'm an Xbox fanboy. I've been with Xbox for 10 years. But these stories are ridiculous. And who cares which console you buy? Just get the one your friends are buying and shut up about which is better or trying to make a statement.

I admire your Photoshop skills.. the thing is that picture is on the IGN website and it is one of their editors showing the HDMI output problem and how it won't connect to the TV, Nice try though.
