Actually, when doing 3 laps you get to the max amount of RP from the mission. You get more from doing 3 laps. Maybe long-term you get more RP but I haven't really looked into it.

I'm level 144 atm, and I've tried both 2 and 3 laps. They both seem to give me the same amount of RP, (Usually around 1 and a half bars)
