Only way to get money. Sorry to say that they really lacked in the heists. Whole game revolved around them, and they give you like 4 20 minute heits. Oooh well, Thanks Rockstar

If you haven't yet done Lester's assassination missions as Franklin yet, you can do them and listen closely to what he says in the cut-scene's so you know where to invest in the stock market. If you've already done these missions, you could still invest in the stock market but I don't know of any ways to ensure a profit by doing it this way.

Personally, I completed the game and then started a new game, completed my new game but left the Lester missions and at the end I done all of Lester's assassinations at once and invested my millions in the stock market and now have almost 80 million as each character, after spending millions. I also got the achievement that is attained by spending $200 million by doing this. Hope I helped!
