I have been using a random cheap mouse for a couple years now. Its not the most comfortable mouse to use, but it gets the job done. Just wondering what makes a gaming mouse better than some $15 mouse from walmart?

Too many things. Just buy one so you can see for yourself. You might not want to, but I guarantee you'll notice a big difference after the change. A nice choice and my personal preference for a low budget is the Logitech G400S. Stay away from laser and wireless mice.

I have had two gaming mice. They are the best mice i have ever used. Trust me it's worth it even if your not gaming
They are good because of the high DPI, You want one with 3000+ DPI. I have a Razer Deathadder. Best thing ever!

Well with gaming mice you have more buttons on the mouse that you can set binds to. You can set up macros with many gaming mice. Many of them have dpi sensitivity changes and weights on them to make mousing easier. It's definitely worth the buy.
