FederalPremium wrote I have finally accomplished a great achievement/milestone of mine this past summer an that was to enlist in the United States Navy! I enlisted as a Aviation Machinist Mate or AD. I leave for bootcamp July 16th 2014, I will be gone for 14 weeks. 8 weeks for boot camp and 6 weeks for my A-school/job training. I will graduate boot camp as an E-3 due to my JROTC experience. Just thought I'd share that with you guys.

congrats man, bootcamp really isnt as bad as people say it is, and AD "A" school isnt really that bad they teach you the basics you will learn the best stuff once you get to your squadron. when i was in A school for the same rate it was in pensacola FL i had some of the best times of my life there im sure you will to.

You got it, I'm in Pensacola for 6 weeks an I heard the same thing too about having some good times down there

yea man its pretty awesome i went through Aircrew school in Pcola before i went to A school im sure it hasnt shanged that much since i was there.

Gotcha, I'm planning on doing 20 if I like my fist 4 years
