Yeah bro that correct I'm not sure if you seen my topic I put earlier, my guy got deleted and I still had my money.

all thry wil do is in basic terms for you is a copy and paste all stats people that got reset will have to just re-rank or theyll get something out of it all.

The cloud servers are down so if you freeze or get off during the time they are down you will lose your character so unless you never turn your console off and dont freeze then yeah maybe you will get to keep your character. Goodluck with it not freezing or kicking you offline.

Call of duty is actually a peer to peer connection. A player is chosen as host to act as a "server to other peers". Your stats are stored on a server, but that's it. You don't actually play on a dedicated server. I've heard Ghost will have dedicated servers based on Xbox's cloud capacity.
