Definitely not Alienware. You'll be spending WAY more than all the parts are worth.

I would just build your own. I'm 13 and I built my own computer. It's not hard, give it a go. You'll save a lot of money.

(And before I get flamed for me age, as long as I'm not annoying/not mature I don't see why it should matter.

The alienware has better hardware and will run any new game max settings, the acer may have a good price but u will have to play medium and even LOW in some games

You'll be saving easily a few hundred dollars building it yourself. You'll also get great satisfaction from building it.

Also, the X51 doesn't have a lot of room for upgrades. No room for GPUs bigger than the GTX 670, and you don't have any room for aftermarket CPU coolers. +The airflow is poor. Overall I wouldn't get the X51.

And why wouldn't you be able to upgrade? Of course you can.

(I know all of this about the X51 because my friend owns one.)

Yeah, you'll be able to max out every game if you spend over $1500. Even though, you'll probably only be getting a 670.

Alienware is not worth it.

This 13 year old just dropped some knowledge and he knows what he is saying. If you want the best from your money and hardware it's simple, Build your own PC. If you buy an Alienware your paying extra for the brand and you don't get to customize the hardware that you want.

It's just Adult Legos, Don't stress over it and do it you will not regret it in the future.

That specific model of alienware will perform better than that acer, but not by much.

The 4770 is pointless for gaming, the 760 is under powered compared to the cpu, and it isn't balanced.

You won't be able to upgrade the alienware in the future, other than the next gen processors, basically (which would be pointless).

Honestly, you are dead wrong. The gtx 660 will run any game the 760 can, the 760 is just a generation new. The 660 is perfectly capable.

In another post, I linked you this:

That will perform the same as the alienware, and it is:

a) overclockable
b)allows future upgrades
c)very likely cheaper
