If you got the Xbox one and went on Xbox live can you still go on with people from the 360?

It hasn't been confirmed but I think that you might be able to connect via Skype on both consoles and talk that way.

Don't take my word for it though. It's just an idea

But , you can still have them on your friend list and you can message them .

That's not going to be possible on Xbox one, But you can have the person on your friends list, Or use skype to talk to people who do not own xnox one while you play a game

You can send text messages but you can not be in a party chat with them or send voice messages
