Is your device Jailbroken?, If so try turning off your theme in winterboard and see if that helps.

I personally think that ios 7 is complete shit in beta. Because of all of the bugs. I couldn't open any of the apps and other stuff. But I know it's only really for developers to get a head start on the software for their apps. But they should have made it so you could still use your apps that you already had.

There is a chance your Iphone will be bricked, But it is unlikely, And if you mean when IOS 7 comes out then yes you will be able to update via OTA.

Try to restore it to factory settings or reset all settings via your device.

Settings- General- Reset.

My iPod 3G usb port has a bent "chip" thing that the cord plugs into and I can't charge my iPod, do you think it is worth it to get repaired?

What Firmware is it running?: ios7 now
What is the problem your having?: i just put ios 7 onto my iphone but when i try to go through the activation on there, it gives me an activation error on my phone and when its connected to iTunes on my pc.

It is because your UDID is not registered, It usually costs $99 a year. To get out of this simply put your device in recovery mode and restore it via itunes and it will go back to IOS 6.

The best way to do this is via apple, They can not repair but replace it for you for $99. You get a brand new ipod. If not other companies may charge between $30- $50.
