When would it be best to buy the PC components?
Would it be after Xmas, before? In the summer? I really have no clue when everything will be cheapest

Whenever you have the money. Prices don't change too much, only occasionally (such as hard drives skyrocketing during the Thailand floods).

I would recommend waiting until you have atleast 500, that'll get you a decent build. But if you live in America, wait until Black Friday and buy the stuff online. That'll be when everything is its cehapest in all.

Other than that, you'll just have to get the parts when on sale from the websites. Which, you should start buying some parts now. (I.e monitor, keyboard, hardrives, ect.) Don't get anything that is to upgradable (CPU, graphics, ect.) until you have everything. Just so you know you won't change your mind 4 months later
