Since Games on Demand cost less Microsoft Points in the US can I download a game on an US account and play it on my xbox in the UK or will it not work?

Games are not region locked but depending on were you live yes they will cost more money.Example Bioshock,you can get it for 4800 MS points in the US but it will cost 5200 else were.
