Boxing is the way to go my friend. Think about it MMA is nice in all but with boxing your using your hands so you train more with your hands. Not like MMA were they focus on ground techniques. I took both and personally Boxing classes kicked my a*s.

Well first of all You should focus on boxing for a while then move on to something like wrestling, then possibly mma. You should choose on a focused style first and get a hang of it, mma-is everything bunched up together & considering youll be doing each for a short amount of time, learning too little at a time. And the big titled fighters always have a WRESTLING/BOXING background or almost all the time. And also check those Coaches experience/background.[/quote]
