I use them for rendering in one screen, while playing games on the other while being able to monitor my render

If I don't feel like buying the textbook, I download an ebook specific to my programming language, and I read on one screen and have visual studio on the main screen.

For everyday browsing and stuff it is very useful.

I have recently hooked up a third monitor to my other two for gaming in Eyefinity, and i can tell you it is bloody awesome aha.
