Power: supply: corsair Gs 600w PSU
CPU: intel i7 3770 3.40GHz quad core CPU
Motherboard:Gigabyte ZZ7-DE3H intel Z77 (socket 1155) DDR3
Cooler: stock intel CPU cooler
ram: Crucial ballistix tracer 16gb
Hard drive: sea gate barracuda 7200.12 1tb
Graphics card: nvidia GeForce gtx 670

Why shouldn't he use that cooler its fine. OP look at getting a newer Haswell processor like the i7-4770 if you need one. The i7 and 16Gb RAM are better for video editing and rendering, but a normal gaming build only really needs an i5 and 8GB RAM.

Also you can save some money by going for a quality 500w power supply.

What? why? He wont be overclocking. he has a i7 3770 not 3770k. the stock cooler will be good and keep the cpu average 40-60 Celsius
