Hey TTG!
I'm making this thread to outline what is the "real deal" with the ps4 preorders.
I would also appreciate it if you could check out my video about this subject, it will be at the bottom of the thread!


THE FACTS!

-
You can preorder the ps4 on amazon
-Gamestop has temporarily stopped taking preorders.
-Gamestop will most likely be taking preorders again in the next few weeks or so
- Your local game store has most likely ran out of ps4 preorders or is very close to ( preorder online, you can get release day delivery)
-Read the fine print when you preorder you might be getting a 2014 release preorder
I will update this thread as more facts come out!

the already confirmed that the PS4 will be coming out this holiday season so dont be telling people that they might get a 2014 date. its just a temp release date till they announce the real release date.

That's not what this post is about. They are saying that the preorders for release day editions are done. If you preorder from now on you will get it in 2014. Sony is only distributing so many at release just like any other console launch when demand is higher than supply. That's why people that do get release day editions you see on ebay selling them for $500 over retail and they get it because parents wait till the last minute to get it and then realize that they can't get one until after christmas so the only hope is ebay. By now if you haven't preordered one chances are you aren't going to get one on release day and will have to wait till sony sends more to retailers sometime in 2014. Lucky for me I preordered mine as soon as they said that you could. I will be playing mine on release day. Too bad for those that haven't preordered yet.
