I have been looking into getting a new card and I'm not sure what would be able to be used with out doing a complete over haul.. If there is a good $200-250usd card that would work well with what i got please let me know.

Current set up:
Processor - 3.10 gigahertz AMD FX-8120 Eight-Core
Board - Gigabyte 2AC8 1.2
Power supply - 460w

You will likely need a new power supply because pre-built systems invariably skimp on the PSU. Fortunately, quality PSUs aren't necessarily expensive and the GTX 660 only needs one PCI power connector.

If you post the model number of the pre-built system you have or the model number of the power supply itself, I could find out more about it. I'm not aware of anything good that's rated at 460w, though.

The PSU you have is no good and you'll want to replace it if you plan on having a somewhat high-end card installed.

The CX500 is decent, but you can't really count a rebate as money off the total. You're still spending the money and you may or may not get the rebate. I still recommend the VP-450.
