Do you know what company windows are? if not look it up real quick and I would suggest deleting your post before making a bigger fool out of yourself

did u look at the article? they were using high end gaming pcs, not the actual xbox one.

They're running the games ON PC'S INSTEAD OF THE CONSOLE.

Yes but when you say "why couldnt microsoft use their own console" you have to realize that it is still their console! because windows is a microsoft product

windows isnt a console, it is an operating system for PC.
