Hey TTG, I was recently looking into upgrading my processor to an Intel one (currently have a AMD Phenom II x965 BE), which obviously means I will need a new motherboard as well. Can anyone recommend the best Intel Processor and Motherboard combo I can get for around $300? Thanks!

Not exactly sure what you're aiming to do on your computer, but here is a great option if you are willing to spend a little over over $300.

Unless you want to spend quite a bit more for a 4670K, Z87 motherboard, and $30 CPU cooler, these are what I suggest:

Which you should buy depends on whether you think a 200 MHz greater stock clock is worth $20.
