buy a new xbox, or wait for the xbox one to come out.

make sure the console is in a cool area
check the fan working normally
check the fan speed is at a reasonable level(change it in freestyle dash)
try adding more fans to help cool the console down.
try playing for little ammounts of time, then let the console cool down and play again.

if none of that works im not sure what the problem is and my suggestion would be to get intouch with one of the sellers and they may be able to find the problem.

thermal paste should do it for you, Im thinking one of your heatsink studs may have loosened up.

Clean everythign up again get it shiny as possible and reapply a thin layer of thermal paste - retest it. If it holds up i would also bump your fan speed up 12v or 9v.

If the problem persists it could end up being a ram Brick issue.

How would I fix the RAM Brick?
