So dispite much of people's ignorance and blatant hate for Macs, I would like to know what people prefer?
Macs
pros-
*mostly free applecare, and seamless integration with iphones
reliable
sturdy (For laptops)
made for photoshop, video editing, and multimedia
music
based for more social interaction and accessibility
cons-
pricey
aluminium body (which is sort of a pro, but it over-heats)

Windows-
pros-
gaming
more access to OS
more customization
relatively cheap
cons-
multiple failures
if it breaks, almost no support unless warranty

Linux
pros-
Free access to OS
fully customizable
free*
gaming
cons-
cant play certain things
if something goes wrong, its broken totally
more technical
limited software

Please take note, this isnt a hate-feast, nor a uneducated assumption contest, please make an informed and a not totally biased post, Im just asking honest options of why people like what they like and why?

For me, Ive used all three and I love all of them, but cant see why other dislike them so much.

It depends on what you need it for. Linux is good for learning coding. Mac is what most college students you as you said it's sturdy and PC is for both gaming and general usage.

I preferred Linux for awhile because it was the only thing my PC would seem to run.

It's lightweight and open source.

The only downside really is that if you've never used Linux before, then the learning curve is pretty huge.

It's because people expect every PC to run all games @ ultra and 60+FPS -_-

Mac- Good for Coding and Browsing, Nothing Else.

Windows- Good For Gaming, And has alot of Software Capabilities although most viruses are designed for it

Linux-Amazing for Dedicated Servers, I prefer CentOS. Very, VERY Customizable, But prone to crashes e.g Ubuntu.

Overall, it matters on what im doing, but for what I do I prefer windows.
